Bio-Mate was developed in Japan by N.I. Techno Co Ltd. is unique in its ability to compost mix, high moisture organic waste generated from food sources, agricultural resources, marine products, sewage sludge. It has replaced many conventional methods of composting. Bio-Mate is an in-vessel fully automated on-site composting system. By using aerobic high-temperature enzymes (bi-tech 21), the decomposition of non-living organic waste can be mature in between 24-48 hours. The composting process produces negligible odors and the end results are vermin, pathogen and weed free. It can be used safely and effectively as soil conditioner/ fertilizer for agricultural, landscaping, feed and nursery purposes.

Bio-Mate has been evaluate for its technical capacity at a specific site by the Environment & Energy Technology Centre of SIRIM and found to be a potential viable organic waste treatment technology treatment technology. Technical Report Reference (PDF) ETC 237/16/234.
